Professional
I'm the owner, technician, and chief bottle-washer at Bowen Technology Services, where I provide computer repair, upgrades, support, web design, custom software solutions, training, and general IT consulting to individuals and businesses in our area.

I'm also a principal in Concinnity Solutions, which provides a terrific documentation management solution aimed at allowing companies to easily demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards (i.e. ISO) by collecting all their policies and communications into an clean, attractive web portal they can easily manage themselves. Currently, Concinnity is focused on helping Forensic Science laboratories achieve compliance with ASCLD/LAB Legacy and International (ISO 17025) standards.

Community Involvement
My wife and I are very involved in our community, with most of that involvement centering around our kids.

  • We are the current President and Secretary of the Roscommon North Youth Soccer Association, and have a great time helping to coordinate the soccer program for the Roscommon area.
  • I serve on the pack committee for Roscommon Cub Scout Pack 3944, and am also the pack's treasurer.
  • Steph has grown the Gymnastics program in Roscommon (through the MSU Extension) from almost nothing into a booming 9-class-a-week monster, and (rightfully) takes great pride in seeing kids gain confidence, strength, and poise as a result.
  • We also have had a steady run of T-Ball and Coach-Pitch baseball coaching over the past two years.
  • We are current members of the Higgins Lake Boat Club, and I'm currently serving a term as a Director there.

Personal
In our "spare time", we enjoy camping (ok, RV'ing, really), boating, downhill skiing, and snowmobiling with our friends and our family. "Free Weekends" are a bit of a joke around our house...
